The Community Cup | Gabe’s Run 2008
Hamilton sweeps the first Community Cup.

Posted 11/29/08 1.00 am

Maybe this is a surprise? Hamilton comes out on top, even without contributions from neighboring Wenham. The Community Cup event sorts all finishers of the race by town, each team with a minimum of five finishers. That made for a field of 20 community teams. Although the majority of the runners in the race were from Hamilton, it looks like their top 5 were strong enough to hold off challenges from Ipswich, Wenham and Beverly. Karla Rossetti(17), Emily Weigand(18), Emily Senning(21), Allison Coughlin(23) and Melissa Bain(24) lead the scoring with 103 points for Hamilton.
